nam and wave files

i was just handed a professional recording"wav file" to install into a nam 4.0 ...i have a engineer to assist later next week but can someone throw me some info on how you go about this...

I recall way back talking about this and at that time it could not be done and I think still it cant be done.
You might try rigging up the ahem.....curlycord to an mp3/wave device somehow.

no, i believe it can and its a major corp having it done...you cant do it on the acd"go figure" but on the vm yes....just looking for info before i go out so's not to be looking unedgamicated

I remember hearing that something could be done but not what.
Heheh Curlycord, there is a great device out there the THAT2 - available from Sandman's in Chicago, that allows for various inputs and outputs through the handset cord. It is quite cool actually and if you have recorded audio, this is one way to get it to 'disc' on the NAM - though it can be tedious.

It would be best to be able to dump files directly to disk.

 
The only place where I know that you can do the WAV files for sure is on the BCM Call Pilot. I thought that was also going to be a new feature of CP 100/150 2.0. I THINK you only option on the NAM is an analog recording. I would like to be proved wrong, cuz it would be very handy to have that option.

well i am waiting for an email with the installation instructions ..i already had my 3rd level tac say no way so this ought to be interesting.
