NAM and Fiber Card Installation

I have a Meridian 8x24 with DR5 software. This customer wants to add a Fiber NAM. Can this be done? I do not see a place to install the fiber card for th fiber NAM. Must I use only a copper NAM or Call Pilot?

Fiber NAM with the MICS version. Call Pilot on the MICS as well. Depends on your needs and availability.

You can hang a fiber nam off an old 8x24 cabinet by using a Fiber to Copper adapter.

Also make sure of the software version on the NAM if I am not mistaken the software most be no later then 2.0 or 2.12.

The correct answer here is that it's WAAAAY past time for a major hardware and software upgrade. If it was a customer that I intended to keep for any length of time, I'd have to recommend that they trade the old systems in for a brand new MICS with Call Pilot.
