MICS: Setting up mailboxes. I can call in from outside and remotly access mailboxes all except 221 the recp. station. It says MB and PW combo. is incorrect. I have reset the MB PW and the same thing.

Also, Can I access NAM VM ADMIN functions by calling from outside? For example cna I ADD, CHANGE, DELETE MB etc.

Yes, just tried ex-100 and pw and it worked. How come the ext's are listed at starting at 221 up? When I dial 221 it goes to the recp. the same as dialing "0"

Yes, I understand. THen I will be able to create virtual MB for anyone who is not on site but wants a MB to check for message and list on a business card for their clients.

How do I match an ext. to a mail box that is on site for ext. users.

If a mailbox number that is different from the extension number is assigned, then you must delete or change the extension assigned to the mailbox. Then just create a new mailbox that matches the extension number.

Can I do this from outside. LEts say call in to the MB 0 and create, change and delete as if I was programming for a station set?

Brian, how about using NRU after hours from a remote location when the operator is not on duty. How does my call get transferred to the RAD modem so I can then logon to the system to makes changes?

you could always assign a line to the RAD that does not hit the AA after hours and you won't need an operator
