I'm replacing a NAM 4.0 with a 4.1.

Do I still need to install the redirect patch or was that repaired on the NAM 4.1?

Should be ok on 4.1 as patch for 4.0

Cheers

Thanks guys yes you're right installed today it was fixed.

BTW its "8" to toggle redirrect.

But I've run into another issue with this setup.

I have two people who want to answer two DN's each. No problem I setup ANS DN's for a secondary phantom DN at each desk. No phone no mailbox for the secondary and that works the ANS DN rings at each spot as expected. The trouble occurs when the set CFNA to voice mail kicks in, the call on the secondary DN ends up in GDM not the mailbox of the DN it is ringing on. Calls to the primary DN forward correctly.

Shouldn't an ANS DN be subject to going to the mailbox of the phone it is ringing on if the timers are set correctly and they are.

Here is the setup:
DN 222 CFNA to VM @ 4 rings
DN 223 ANS DN (A&R) on 222, CFNA None, CFB none, No phone or mailbox for 223
Transfer Recall = 12 rings
DRT disbabled

I expected calls to 223 to end up 222 mailbox but they don't. After 4 rings they go to the GDM.

I think if you used CFNA from 223 to 222 instead of the answer DN, then unanswered calls would go to 222's mailbox instead of the GD mailbox. Answer DN acts more like a call coverage than call forward. Or what about giving 223 a mailbox and then set notification to 222? I'm not certain a NAM can do this, but a CallPilot can.

The NAM will do message notification. I'm trying to avoid 2 mailboxes.

I tried CFD (F4) from 223 to 222 and then unplugging 223 it did the same thing (I expected that). I did not try CFNA 223-222.
