Hi,
Where can I find some info about the error messages I get from VM alarm report?
Some of the error messages are unclear to me.
Also is there a way to get alarm reports or logs out of the ACD?
Any input will be appreciated.

NAM 4.0
ACD CINPHONY I

Nothing?!
I tried to look if there was any info about this in the forum but couldn't find any, so if anyone has any input I will appreciate it.

what are the problems you are having?

Thanks for the reply luv2ski,
2 months ago we had a cross-linked files problem on the NAM, the problem was fixed at that time.
Yesterday the NAM froze and had to reboot it.
What worries me that there was no indication that something is going wrong in both cases. All what I had is Evt 995 & Evt 820.
Thats why I am trying to find some info about the error messages I get from VM alarm report?
Or to get alarms or logs out of the ACD?

what does cintech say

995=global loss

says new code no info

820=an event recieved by the line driver software ,which controls the trunk hardware is not recognized

say record info from event and network logs and contact local support group

are you on 4.1 for ksu?
are they crossed again?

thanks again,
Here is the Full description of your Event Code 995, that I found on the Nortel website.

995: G_LOSS_PLAN_ERROR
995: Cause:
995: The Global Loss Plan Engine encountered an error.
995: First Parameter=Loss Plan Error code. Remaining
995: parameters are dependant on the error code.
995: Enviroment:
995: This can occur in any product which supports market
995: profiles.
995: Human Action:
995: The customer should report the problem, including all
995: of the information that accompanied the event in the
995: log. Designers should see unit glb_lss_defs for inter-
995: pretation of the error codes and other parameters.

I was told that "The EVT995" 'The Global Loss Plan' is NOT service affecting." .
yes 4.1 for ksu
the files are not crossed again yet.
but I am being Paranoid after the NAM froze 2 days ago.

check your fiber cabel and or replace it if you have one.

Yes we are using T1 but we dont have problems using it (all lines incomming and outgoing are working fine).
The fiber cable looks fine.
so I will go back to my original questions:
Is there a way of getting alarm reports or logs out of the ACD?
Where can I find some info about the error messages I get from VM alarm report?

Thanks again for the replies.

cintech has a logging exe loaded we send then send to their software developers for troubleshooting... are u under contract for maint for acd?
