NAM 4.0 GOES TO SLEEP (OFFLINE) FREQUENTLY

THE NAM WILL GO OFF LINE EVERY 2 WEEKS OR SO USUALLY OVER A WEEKEND, THE PERIOD OF LEAST ACTIVITY. WE HAVE TO UNPLUG THE POWER AND PLUG IT IN AGAIN FOR IT TO FUNCTION. NO DATA IS EVER LOST. I HAD HEARD THAT THERE WAS A PATCH DISC AVAILABLE TO FIX THIS ISSUE, IS THAT CORRECT.

nam 4.0 installed new in march 2000

According to exsmogger, under thread 799-445522(NAM Crashes)
R4.04A had problems with channels "going to sleep."
R4.04C took care of this bug.

Yeah, I had the same problem with a NAM 4.0.04a and had to upgrade to 4.0.04c to solve this problem. However this NAM stayed up longer than a couple weeks, sorry to hear yours is going out faster, but like it's been posted I had to upgrade and haven't had a problem since.
