nam 4.0 compatibilty

hae a mics with 7.0 software and a pri and added a nam fiber with 4.0.0 software. cannot get the did number to forward into personal greeting, goes to default aa greeting. do I have to upgrade to a 4.1 or higher nam. have try everything I can think of.

Upgrading to 4.1 IS the accepted practice but first you might want to try installing the redirect DNS patch to see if that will solve your FNA to voicemail problem. It may or may not but you should upgrade just to be on the safe side and to avoid future troubles.

how hard is it to upgrade to a 4.1 and where would I get the patch. I do have access to the nortel site but what patch do I look for considering the nam is not support by nortel any more.

how much does it cost to upgrade a 4.0 to a higher software rel and will it work also below 6.0 to 5.0 or 5.1.
