In case anyone else has had a problem with this:
I setup a NAM 4.0 voice mail with a MICS 5.0 system. The customer wanted a complex CCR tree. I set it all up, it worked beautifully except none of the transfers would let you leave a voice mail unless it transferred directly to voice mail. You COULD NOT first ring the extension for someone to pickup.
It turns out that you have to use a patch disk and boot up to disk, listen for 2 beeps. The disk is bootable (DOS, Windows 9x, or OS/2) and has one executable file "redirdn.exe" and an "autoexec.bat" file that contains the command line "redirdn n". This turns OFF the redirect DN on the NAM 4.0. It worked!
I have worked with my distributor and other Nortel guys for 3 weeks on this and I finally have a fix.
I hope this is helpful.
If anyone needs this file, email info@dynamiq.com and let me know.
P.S. This forum and been extremely helpful for me.
