Nagios client on AIX Box

I am having the biggest problem getting nagios to monitor my aix boxes. I keep getting
CHECK_NRPE: Received 0 bytes. Are we allowed to connect to the host?
on all the commands I try to run on aix. The nagios server is on a redhat 9 box. I have no problems monitoring Windows boxes. If anybody can help I would really appreciate it!!

I am having problems with this as well. I get errors trying to compile the plugins and get linker errors with ld in reference va va_copy.

I tried the contrib/aix plugins and I get an invalid crc error coming to the nagios server (linux) when I connect.

Were you able to complie the plugins? I am using the plugins 1.3 on an AIX 5.2 box

I was able to complile them on all exept for one box. This box is driving me crazy. I'll keep you updated on my progress.
