'na' randomly appears in Powerplay

Hi,

We have some users who are complaining that they erratically have ‘na’ in a cell of a PowerPlay report upon opening it.
This seems to be in more than one report and I have personally witnessed the fact that it is totally erratic in that it happens without any discernable pattern.

Has anyone else had this strange behaviour or have a possible explanation?

I have searched the Cognos KB and seen several threads that refer to why this would happen, most of which point to a change in category codes but none of them could explain why it would happen randomly whenever a report is opened.

I have sometimes same problem with cubes. I clean house and build cubes again.

Hi RNRM,
Does it happen :
- on any particular report or section of the report?
- for a particular cube?
- is it web or client? workstation (environmental)?
- anything peculiar about your cube builds or overnight refresh?
