Hi all,
I am in the corporate network and we have one proxy (squid) for all kinds of connections (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP)..i.e. we have to set up say 124.12.58.10:3155 for all the connection proxy...
(In IE Connection > LAN Settings > Proxy Server > Advanced > Proxy settings)
Now, this proxy requires authentication. (USER/PWD).
My question is how do I set the mail clients (OE/Mozilla any one) for this authentication to remote POP3/IMAP/SMTP (say hotpop.com)?
I tried searching on google and found that they are talking abt putting Winsock Client, etc...I think for that there has to be a Winsock Server on the proxy, isn't it? But here we have Linux with squid as a proxy server!!!

So, any solution? My purpose is to use email client for accessing my email accounts....

Thanks,
Nirav

Thanks
