Hi,
I have installed Oracle 10g on RedHat ES Linux with the help o f the steps given on the OTN site.
Now, the server is successfully installed and I can login from terminal and work with the SQL prompt.
But, when I try to use isqlplus from browser it says connection refused (111)???
I tried to see the service (http) from 'netstat', but in vain. :(
So, how do I check if Oracle HTTP server is starting, or not.
I loin as "/ as sysdba" and start the server...Do I need to start the service(http) manually?
Also, does it conflict with the default apache server (httpd) ?
Any suggestion would be helpful.

Thanks.

Hi, Nirav

At a terminal session, you need to type the following:

isqlplusctl start

By default, this does not run when starting the Oracle server.
