This version has a save/restore function. No directions with the software. How do I save and restore the VM database? What is the password when in F983 and you press a "3" or an "8" ?

the 3 is to play canned prompts and the 8 is the dtmf tone duration parameter settings I don't have the passwords for this though

well if this helps number 8 password is MAINT. 3 is a password I have been searching for with no success.

richtech. I have not ever seen version 3.1.02 on a Flash. Does this really exist? The last version I know to be made was 2.1.0 and the Flash was never able to back up.

It does exist, or it did until Nortel MD's it.
It was called Flash VM BRU. I have the doc's scanned to PDF's, but here's the general info.
Login and then press 22 to do a backup.
Restore is 33 after login.

Thanks rhowlett. I just received the PDF's and you are right. Back up on this software will work with Flash modules MFG after Oct 17, 1996. backs up sys config, company greeting, CCR info,trees,paths,&prompts. Dir names,group lists, and mail box programming. No mail box greetings or messages saved.
