System: NA-MICS-DR 6.0
Voice Mail N* Flash 2.1.00 VML

Using 7310 f983 voice mail sais "not allowed" when trying to go into AA or CCR. Mail Box Add - Change - Delete works.
Anybody have a solution?
I have already tried to reinstall and have reset database all that works enabled voicemail grouplists etc. but still cant get into AA.

Happy New Year to all

sounds like you got a flash without aa/ccr need to upgrade to aa version

Thanx for the quick response, however this unit was operating perfectly with AA & CCR before relocating it to to customers new offices. As a matter of fact before reinstall old AA greetings and CCR were still working, I just couldn't modify them.

sound like a Flash Lite

Also what was this unit configured on? A CICS? what software? any upgrades in software in the move? If a CICS....the AA of CICS could have been the answer section....

System: NA-MICS-DR 6.0

The control unit was moved with the voice mail - no upgrades just de-install and re-install

try F**xftest
Maybe the feature codes go messed up.
Turn off flash and remove all the F codes.
Then power up the Flash. It will put the right codes in.
You can watch all this with hyperterminal and serial cable.

That was one of the first things I tried when Reinstalling the voice mail. I re-entered the feature code range.
In any case F983 is functional because it does allow me to go in and add, changs, or delete mailboxes

You may need to get new keycodes, or find the old keycodes that were used to add Auto Attendant & CCR

I cant imagine how the key codes uninstalled themselves.
In any case I wasnt aware that these units had any sort of key code availability since they are shipped as 2 ports and can be upgraded to 4 port by merely plugging in additional circuit board... no need for key codes

v2d,
There was a version of Flash called Flash Light. It was an AA and CCR disabled, mailbox only version. It was designed to go back to back with a CICS using its CCR system.
Available for this was a key code upgrade to make it a complete 2 port Flash. Once upgraded, the Flash Light would only go to 2 port.
It has been known to happen that the Flash Light can dump its key codes when unplugged, reset or experienced power surges/spikes.
So in the above posts, this is what is being considered.

Cheers

Interesting fact which I never knew...
However what's puzzeling me is that I installed this unit originally only about 1 1/2 years ago, and it is in fact a 4 port unit

v2d,
I know this is something you have likely checked already, but did you go verify all four channels in maintenance?

PhM

Yes I did B1 & B2 DN's are active for 4 ports

i have had people swap equipment/steal of wall at nite...shitty world we live in aint it.

I considerd that, but serial # match original unit & feature card that was installed. By the way the voice mail identifies itself as a VML which I assume means large as in 4 ports. Can anyone verify this?
