Hi,
I wonder if anybody can help me please..

I have noticed that if you do a 'Find Files and Folders' search on the Temporary Internet Folder after a cleanup (done by using either the Delete Files option in IE and Cleanup under Win98) that there is a lot of [n] files (where n is a number) left in on the Content.IE5 folder.

All of these are 0k in size but when I last cleared it there were over 5000 of the things!.

I am using IE 5.5 with Win98SE.

Does anybody have any ideas as to what might causes this, or any ways of stopping/fixing it?

Thanks in advance

Paul.

This is normal as far as I know. You need to delete them inside of Windows Explorer under c:\windows\temporaryinternetfiles
You select all and the delete them. i have only seen Netscape successful at deleting these.
