In the dim and distant past I have installed a few old small analog units so this week my brother asked me to look at his new work unit. They have recently moved in and the previous occupants left a Siemens HiPath 3000. Ive got the internal phones talking to each other but cant control the unit as yet (waiting for a v24 cable!)
However BT have installed 2 analog ports from the DP. Im not sure I can hook the HiPath to analog lines - previous occupants had fibre NTEs and ISDN2e backups. No manuals, have downloaded Manager E but thats as far as Ive got.

what cards are in the system, is it a 3350,3300,3550,3500

the 3000 systems don't come with any analogue lines on board so if the last customer did not have ant then more than likely not in the system, but you can get analogue line cards for that system
