I saved an image in the images folder in inetpub\ I see it there in Explore. When I click on the elipse of the images section in the properties box of my button (whew, that was a mouthful!), the images folder is empty!! Why, and how do I get my images out??

Please help!

You maybe able to fix it by refreshing your project.

or in the project explorer right click on you images folder and add the image there.

Thanks - I dragged it from Explore to the Project Explorer and that was it exactly.

Also, when I needed the image in HTML, I dragged it from the project explorer and it made an image tag out of it, with the path images\image.gif. Is this an absolute path or a relative path? Thanks again for your help.

an absolute path starts with a slash / or even a drive letter c:
a relative path starts with either a name (of a file or directory in the SAME directory as the current web page) or a double dot (../) (which goes up to the parent directory of the current web page).

Some security breeches can be as simple as to put these double-dotted directory navigations in the URL
http//mysite/../../
Some web servers will list the files found here - ie your servers C: or D: drive. There is a setting in IIS to prevent this happening. (Content Management)
