Hi, I'm using AI CS.

I keep seeing a light almost white hairline show up when I try to place a solid dark color (purple) under a black drawing. I don't have any strokes or anything in use, it's just a faint white outline shows up around the top image whenever I try to use dark colors in different layers. When I export this image in JPEG format the lines don't show up, but I'm unsure about EPS, which is what I commonly export in. Would anyone know if these hairlines show up in EPS files?

If this has been answered already, I would appreciate it if I can get a link to the thread. I have no idea what to search for (I tried) or what this'issue' would be called.

Thank you!

...nothing to worry about really, may just be a screen display issue you have, i have seen this loads of times...

...whenever i do i just check the image in photoshop to see if there is a line of unused pixels around the edges by zooming right in, 9 times out of 10 there is nothing. If photoshop doesn't show anything odd then it will be fine...

...most of the time i see this a lot in pdf files and also quark too...

have fun!
andrew

Could be a lingering fragment - did you try zooming way out and then back in?
