I am using MySQL 5.0 on SuseLinux 9.1, when I start mysqld it starts ok but then hangs.
This is a problem when attached to a run level, as the blocked process prevents the boot from continuing.
Is this a known issues? Is there a simple way to start mysqld as a seperate process?
Thanks
