Hello Guys,

I'm currently developing an application which I expect to grow to a pretty substantial size as far as the database is concerned.

We're currently working on a shared hosting environment with a MySQL Database, but we're looking to bring the whole opperation in-house and host it on our own servers.

We're looking at cost projections on the new server and whether we role out MySQL or kick it up a gear and go for SQL2005.

I'm not that ofea with working on databases so am a little niave as to the differances between the two systems, is there a differance in features and performance? or is it just a case of using what your used to?

What are the complications of migrating a database structure from MySQL accross to MsSQL?

Thanks for any advice or thoughts guys,

Rob
