Usualy I don't ask such vague questions and I'm sorry for this one. I've been searching the web reading FAQ's and searching tek-tips and can't find the answer to my problem.

Two problems.

1) I've never used mySQL and know nothing about it. I've never seen it in action, don't know how it works, how it is layed out, how it is accessed or anything.

2) The question is: EVERYONE can see EVERY database. Is there a way to keep databases visible only to the owners. is this a security issue?

I hope this makes sence, it was a question posed to me that i hoped i could find online, but no luck thus far.

I don't know what other information you may need.
