Help. I'm a fairly new MySQL user.

Now that I've populated my tables with data, is there an easy way for me to generate reports and save the desired formatting? Using the MySQL command line is not exactly the most user friendly environment to accomplish this.

How do most people generate reports from their MySQL data?

Ruski, I've been using qlr manager from . It uses a browser interface so you or your users don't have to install any software and it provides precise control of the report formatting, including breaks, sums, counts, etc. The report can be viewed, printed, or downloaded as a CSV or XML. The best part is you can save and share queries along with the formatting options.

I posted this question on two different forums and received a similar response about Works great.

I had to load the Zend Optimizer first to get it to work, but that was no big deal.

Thanks.
