MySQL Programmin

Is there a programming enviornment inside MySQL, similar to VisualFox Pro? I have already begun converting my data, I need to know, before I start rewriting my program, if I will need to be using an ODBC driver to use the DB. Thanks

MySQL does not have an application framework. It is more like SQL Server than FoxPro.

If you are accessing MySQL from Win32, you will need to use ODBC. The MyODBC ODBC driver for MySQL is available at the MySQL website (

There is no such environment
it's better you use MySQL-Front for such activities
