Hi,

Is there a way to detect stripped connections & the related processes and to kill/close them. When the client shuts abnormally, the process dangles for quite long on the MySQL server.

maybe
mysqladmin -u root -ppassword processlist
and pipe it through awk/grep and pipe it to kill command ?
