This looks to me like a PHP problem, not a MySQL problem. I recommend that you ask your question in the PHP forum.
Also, you will get faster responses to your questions if you give your thread a better title. "MySQL Help" is redundant in this forum. Everyone who posts a question is looking for help, and every question in this forum is about MySQL.

I have to disagree, error 10061 is normally an access denied error. have you got the right username, password, host and access privileges set up ?
