MYSQL FULLTEXT Index

How does the FULLTEXT search work as I have used this on the site, but if I delete entries from my database the index dosn't work anymore, do I have to reload it to make it work again or what??

Hello,

I'm not totally sure why it wont work after deletion, however you could try to optimize your table after deletion with: OPTIMIZE TABLE table_nm [,table_nm2]

OPTIMIZE dosn't seem to make any difference
