I'm running windows 98 and installed phpdev4. MySql keeps killing my machine...Before using phpdev4 I used phptriad and had no luck with it...I have uninstalled mysql several times and then I installed phpdev4....this is what I get..

This is what is in the DOS prompt before Nortons tries to keep mysql from crashing.

C:\phpdev\mysql\bin\mysqld-opt.exe:Fatal error: Can't find messagefile 'c:\apache\mysql\share\english\errmsg.sys'

Then when I check it in the browser this is what I get....

Warning: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10050) in c:\phpdev\ on line 308

Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10050) in c:\phpdev\ on line 308
Error
