mysql DBD/DBI problem

I continue to get errors while trying to get mysql and DBD working together. I keep getting internal server errors and the following message in my errors.log file.<br>

Perhaps a module that DBD::mysql requires hasn't been fully installed<br>

I have installed both the RPM and the source release and continue to have problems. Any ideas are welcome.<br>

I unistalled all DBI and Mysql packages with the gnoRPM manager. I then reinstalled them and queried their paths. The RPM's installed in /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/DBD or /DBI respectively however the @INC path does not contain these. Where is this @INC path set and will changing it make these modules work. Certainly there is someone using RH6.0 with MySql 3-22 and DBI-Perl.<br>
The following RPMS are installed:<br>
MySQL 3.22.25-1<br>
MySQL client 3.22.25-1<br>
MySQL devel 3.22.25-1 <br>
DBI-Perl-Bin<br>
MySQL-DBI-perl-bin 1.1825-4<br>
