MySQL Control Center Error

I upgraded MySQL CC from 0.8.10 to 0.9.0 and then tried 0.9.2. I now get the following error when I try to connect to the database:

ERROR 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'SQL_MAX_JOIN_SIZE=1000000' at line 1

Anyone else seen this? Got a solution?

I am running MySQL 3.22.32 on an HP-UX 11.0 box.
MySql CC is running on Windows XP.
