MySQL as Service on Windows Server 2003

I have MySQL installed at D:\mysql. I have put my.ini with correct basedir and datadir entried into D:\Windows. When I attempt to run mysqld-max-nt --install I get the service installed but it will only show it as being installed on the C drive. Any help would be appreciated.

Just a thought - you will need either

D:\\Windows
or
D:/Windows

in your option file on a Windoze system .....
