MySQL and Access 2007 - currency format

Greetings,

Does anyone have experience importing a pipe delimited csv file produced using MS Access 2007.

Basically I have several currency fields (in access) I export them as double or decimal (tried both) but when I import them using PHPmyAdmin, only zeros are imported. The field (in mySQL) = decimal(10,2)

Can anyone please assist.
