Hi everyone. I am a novice with MySql. I am tryint to do an install. I had installed mysql 3-23-52 and used MySqladmin to create username and password, from ther I click on winmysqladmin and a window was brought up with several tabs Enviorn, start check, etc. One tab was databases. I right click on white area under the test database. and it allowed me to create a database which I could name. (ex newtest) So then I saw two databases, test and newtest. I installed 4.x When I got to the point where I wanted to create a database called test. I right click and nothing happened. So right now the only database thats listed is test, I guess thats the default. How do I create and name a database. thanks.
