MyProg.rc File Locked

I copied one program to start a new version. I need to add some new dialogs, but the resource file MyProg.rc reports that it is 'Opened in another editor'.

My application is a MFC Dialog based one.

I have closed down and re-booted my PC, but still I cant open this file in my Visual Studio 2005 Resource View.

Any suggestions please!

This may be a silly question but have you got the .rc file open as text in your development window?

Thanksm it did sort itself out, I think a previous crash was the problem.
