MyODBC problems!!

Hi there,

I am using MySQL 4.0.5 and MyODBC 2.5.
I am connecting to the database with an ASP page and teh first time it works really fast. After the second of third time it then becomes incredibly slow (6 to 10 minutes to execute a query and display results in a page).
I then have no solutions but restart teh machine and try again.

Can anyone help? Is it perhaps a problem with MySQL 4?
