MCP version 4.04.04..10and the Callpilot is also v4.It's been working fine for years and then suddenly nobody can login - it goes to the initial page where you can download the player and/or Windows media player but when you hit "continue" (becasue I already have full desktop messaging player instqalled but other people use the standalone one for mycallpilot) it just reloads that page.I did a CPTrace on the MCP server and wnet toe MCP webpage and got the following but I can't interpret it. Maybe someone could run a trace on their box that works and post it up and I will do the staring and comparing to see what I can see...(Or if anyone sees what might be the problem, holler! lol)

I can't believe that was hard coded in there! lol and worse, I can't believe i missed that on my initial search. As always, Tek Tips delivers. Thanks Yyrkroon! (and thanks to the folks in that other thread too.)

There is a new version of MyCallPilot that fixes this problem.

I downloaded this version and installed it last week, and have not had the problem since.

CP5.0MyCallPilot_050041143.exe is the filename available in the ESPL website.

Hi Allenmac, thanks for that - I'm going to get it right now - do you think it will fix the "invalid credentials" error I am now getting after editing the dates in those files like the other thread suggested? THe page comes up now but credentials that all worked fine before now no longer work...I have searched the forum and found deveral threads with similar problems but they all suggest working with the vpim and other things that I have already done...I reckon I'll see...lol thanks again

Oh and is this compatible with CP4?

I'm not sure if this will address your problem, but I had the issue of the cookie causing the web-page to refresh constantly prior to loading this version.

I believe this will work with people running CP4 as well.

Everything is all cleared up now. Incidentally, I was never able to get the MCP update from Nortel/Avaya but I was able to edit the files on the server and that cleared up the March expiration problem.

As for the invalid login, after some tactful inquiries with the Network department it turns out they had made some AD changes that must have affected teh MCP LDAP search base settings - made adjustments to the server, the client and Call Pilot config and everyone is back in business.

Thanks again to everyone!
