have a static wan IP Address and every time I go to certain websites, they get my IP address and the next thing you know I get alot of spam and I get a intrusion dection in the log meaning someone is trying to get into my system.

Is there any way to hide or mask my ip from the public so I won't be attacked?

You could use a proxy server, googling this topic will present everything you could ever wish to know on the subject.

Aside from this, no; your IP is required in order for the information to get back to you. In your situation I would use a well configured firewall, or avoid the websites.

There are some other half-breed methods such as portals ( etc).

In Zone Alarm you can configure it to mask part of your ip address.
