I have a macro that runs several queries then does a transfer text and generates a spreadsheet in a folder-- It runs fine on my pc, but when my user runs it, she received error 2950.

Its still happening when she runs the job. the error is happening on a query. It runs fine for me. Very strange.

I'm assuming she has moved the db to a trusted location?

With error 2950 you have 2 choices.
1 enable the db for that session which going forward you have to continue to do each time you open the db or 2 move the db to a trusted location listed in the Micorsoft Office Access Trust Center

Also how about testing the db on open to see if it is trusted?
Thoughts?

I added the macro to test whether the db is trusted, but my user still gets error 2950, and it works perfectly normal for me. Now, is this crazy or what????

Did your user trust the DB on her PC ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

I am testing this now. Does every user need to have his/her
DB trusted on their PC?

If you have 400 users, then each installation needs to be configured? OY VEY!

in acc 2007 ... yes :) all 400
