This song is performed by my son's piano teacher. He was asked several times to participate in singing the in the background vocals and after much cajoling he "decided" to join in. When they went to the studio it was very interesting how they taped the kids over and over again. (Only 4 kids despite what it sounds like). I must admit my total surprise at how good the final song is/was. I had zero expectations and the quality just blew me away. When this started I thought we'd end up with a private recording that we would pull out at weddings or other public events where embarrassment or nostalgia were expected. Well, next thing we know, the song is quite a hit locally and Carrie gets a grant for a video. Again, expectations have been exceeded. My son can be seen in the video at 2:52 top left looking straight at the camera as I'm sure he was told not to do. Also seen at 3:25 straight backed and jutting chin again top left. In the far away shots in the church he is the second from left in the back row. Despite his all but insignificant role in this, I am quite proud of him for doing this. This was an opportunity not missed for once.
