I could not log in to my server remotely or on a console, everytime I tried I would get a ld.so.1 malloc error. So I rebooted the server and now it won't come up, I get BAD TRAP cpu0 error and it resyncs it's file and reboots again and again. It's caught in a loop, I am running Solaris 6 on a Sun Ultra Enterprise 1, any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
RG

Try to boot from a CD and run fsck on your root-slice

Your problem appears to a cpu problem.
Connect a terminal to the Ultra 1 serial port and recycle power and run POST, this will give you more info.

Where would I run the POST command, is this an openboot command?

Thanks,
RG

When you turn power on the system will run post (power on self test) automatically.
