Hi I am trying to set up an intranet site, on my server running IIS5. I am using FP2000, I just tried to test a form to see if it records data to a database but when I published it to the folder on my IIS server .asp files are not recognised. when i try and click on an .asp file it asks me which program i want to open it with.

Does anyone know whats wrong? I though IE5 would recognise asp pages

Are FrontPage extensions setup on your server?

Are you using the http protocol to "serve" the page from your server? If not, you need to. If you are just clicking on an .asp page in IE or Windows Explorer it won't work. Also the page must reside within the correct web server folder, usually inetpub for IIS on Windows.
