I have a report that is scheduled as a recurring job. It worked for several weeks and now it's coming back with a "Not Responding" in the status field. The properties is of no help and no changes have been made to the report or to the database. Other reports are running fine. What is causing this?

Not Responding is a status which simply means that Seagate hasn't heard anything back from the database between the time it submitted the query, and the time Seagate was due to poll.

The likelihood is that the query is still processing on the database but hasn't returned any data yet because some other process(es) are slowing it down, or perhaps because another user is locking the object Seagate is trying to query.

If you've had a No Response status for a few minutes, let the report run for a while. If it's significantly longer than it should be, have a look at the database to see what the traffic's like and whatever else might be going on.
