My report wont preview with subreport inserted

I am using Crystal Reports to make custom reports. When I insert this one report with a subreport inserted into it,I am not able to preview it in D-Tools, the software in which I am using the reports.

Both reports are standalone, and they both work fine without eachother. Its just when I insert the subreport in, the preview window flashes up on the screen and then disappears right away.

If anyone can help I will be so grateful! Thanks

When "the preview window flashes up on the screen and then disappears right away," is this in the report designer or your application? If it is in your application, how does it work previewing in the designer together (not separately)? Chris

It previews fine in Crystal Reports with the subreport inserted. It is only when I try to preview it in the application that I am having problems.

I took the subreport out of the report and it previewed fine in the application, as does the sbreport on its own. Its only when the subreport is inserted that it will not preview the report.

This is confusing me because Crystal Reports is allowing me to preview it as if there were no problems.

Please Help!!!
