I am having a problem with autocomplete for forms.

My autocomplete works fine with web addresses, but doesn't store new entries for forms anymore. It worked fine for form entries up until about 1-2 weeks ago. All of the boxes are checked off in the autocomplete window and "Use inline Autocomplete" is also checked off in the "tools/internet options/advanced/browsing" window, so that is not the problem. After this problem occured, all of the prior form entries were still accessible with autocomplete, it just wouldn't store any new entries. I searched the net for information on how to fix this and I read that hitting the "clear forms" and clear password" buttons could fix the problem. I tried that, and now all of the old form entries are gone, and I still can't add any new ones.

I read the FAQ (submitted by reghakr) on fixing the autocomplete history for Internet Explorer.

Regarding the instructions on step 4:

"4. Backup the registry and/or export the following keys:
go to Start>Run, type regedit. Navigate to:

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\IntelliForms\SPW

and delete any encypted entries that are listed in the right pane window, leaving only the (Default) entry."

I tried to navigate to "SPW", but there's no Intelliforms folder.
I am using Windows ME. Are these instuctions only applicable for Windows 98?

Thanks,
Lionel

One more thing I forgot to add, I am using Internet Explorer version 5.50
