My query is too complex

I have run a query from writing SQL in VBA code on my form. I have over a hundred fields that I search but when I run the query it says that it is too complex. I have taken a few fields out and it works so I presume that it has something to do with a limitation with access 2000, can anyone suggest a way around this.

I've had similar problems, and it was due to a specific field using a formula or fieldname reference which was not obvious to the engine.

I'd test to see if this is the case by removing a different group of fields. If the problem still occurs, narrow the group which was first removed down to the offending party.
