My phones are disabling when unplugged from the jack after a few minutes.

I have to do a LD 32 & re-enable the TN for the phone.

In the past they would only disable after midnight.

Please advise

Check your backround testing routines. maybe a vendor or someone else changed them to include 45, 30 or 32 in order to troubleshoot a problem and didn't put them back?

Hmm, I was always taught that the system does 'handshakes' during the day, something like every 15 minutes, and if it doesn't see the phone, it will disable the TN. Then you would have to re-eneable the TN in LD 20.

only if your running one of the background loads like arch
stated.

Please advise me on how I can check the background testing routines

UUUM? Not sure about ports disabling after being unplugged only a few minutes, but this does seem like what happens during

You can try removing LD30 from OVLY in LD 17

LD 30 tells the system to look for programmed TN and
to check for equipment connected to these TNs. If the
systems sees nothing, it disables the port.
