My own font as resource

Does anyone know how to store a font file (say a .ttf file) as a resource and then use it in the software without installing the font on the user's system?

For example, Windows Font Viewer reads and uses uninstalled fonts when one double-clicks on a .TTF file. Once I know how to do that, I can figure out how to imbed the file as a resource.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Vincent

Anybody? Perhaps it is not possible, and the Font Viewer actually installs and uninstalls fonts to show them, but I hope not.

Thanks,

Vincent
