Hi,

I send regular newsletter to my mailing list which definetely are not spam. However some anti spam software are stopping my emails from entering the server. The problem is that I do not know what X LIBRARY and X-MAiler in the message I am getting are (below)

SPAM: X_LIBRARY (2.2 points) Found a X-Library header
SPAM: PRIORITY_NO_NAME (1.0 points) Message has priority setting, but no X-Mailer

If I manage to solve these I will enter the server as currently I am getting 7 points and the limit is 5.5.

Any help?

Thanks

xlibrary and xmailer are two popular headers that are used by many of the bulk email software out there (and bulk email software have, unforutnately grown a bad reputation). Many anti-spam filters are set to delete or bounce any message using those headers.

What software are you using to send out your newsletters?

Mailist King using SMTP to send directly through the server.
I have just tried OLE method (through Outlook) and they managed to get in.

Hope it remains the same. Thanks.
