This is a problem with newsgroup postings, not really with e-mail, but I thought someone in this forum might be able to help, and I'm a bit desperate here!

My posts to Usenet have been blocked by my news service, as apparently these posts have been ending up on some private newsserver in Jersey neasr the UK (they've sent a couple of autoresponses to me, but I can't contact anyone there, and the support poeple at my news provider are not helpful).

I am NOT a spammer, but my news provider now seems to think I am.

I've used to methods to post:
Outlook Express and Google Groups, using two different identities. I've also tried doing this from my workplace, and I have the same problem, which means it's probably not my ISP's error.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I can't post the problem on Usenet, because my posts are being blocked.

Many thanks,

I don't know much about usenet, but if email spam is detected, the servers are added to a database which then blacklists the servers until removed. Maybe there is something similar? It may not be your ISP now, but someone mis-routed the posts originally, unless somebody else was posting from your account. Do you know for sure that the posts received were your posts?

Anyway there is a longish FAQ that may help. Afraid it's the best I can do :-( Hope someone else can help.

BTW if you're not in the UK, and think someone here may be helpful to you let me know.
