Yesterday of all of our users started having trouble with their network neighborhood and with my network places. I can see all of the computers and server on our local LAN but nothing at any of the remote sites, I can do a search and it will find the computers at the remote sites but it will not display them with the computers on the local LAN. At the remote sites they can only see some of the computers on their LAN and they can also serch for a computer in their network places and find other computers but they are not displayed. Then there are some machines that do not display anything when you try to display the entire contents.

If you have ay ideas pleas elet me know.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Maybe this can help: Master Browser issues faq96-3728

"In space, nobody can hear you click..."

I have done this, now I cannot find the Domain Master Browser. Does anyone know how to force Domain Master Browser or how a computer obtains the role of Domain Master Browser?

Thanks,
Jeremy

If your Domain workstation is enumerating remote sites, it is not a master browser issue.

Forum member Bob Linn, MS-MVP, has some terrific thoughts on browser, workgroup and domain name resolution issues on his Chicago Tech site:
See the browser and domain sections for your error.
