Hello. We recently replaced our XP boxes with a newer model. I am trying to access a server through network neighborhood: My Network Places > Entire Network > Microsoft Windows Network > TEST > Test-2003(I used to be able to access the Test-2003 server on our old XP boxes).
When I try to access the Test-2003 server (which is a Server 2003 member server), it asks for a user-name and password. I enter the domain admin user-account and password, and it will not connect. There are other 2003 Servers in the TEST domain, and I can access the shares no problem. I am sure that is has to be a local policy issue on the new XP box because it worked on the older workstations, but I am not sure where to look. Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks.

We recently replaced our XP boxes with a newer model" so u did a new install of xp and joined the domain with a new computeraccount?
what msg do u get?

For some odd reason this morning when we returned to work we were able to access the 2003 Member Server. I am not sure if it may have been a synchronization issue or what, but it worked this morning when we came in. Thanks..
